Top 8 Home Remedies For Ringworm

The ring worm is a fungal disease on the skin and it is contagious. The fungi form a layer on the top of the skin and will feed on the keratin of the skin. Here are some home remedies for ringworms.

Garlic

Make a paste out of 3 cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of honey and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply the paste on the affected areas and let sit for an hour and then wash off the area with cold water,

Tea Tree Oil

Clean the affected area thoroughly and pat it to dry, and then apply tea tree oil liberally on the affected place and using a cotton swab. Wash off the areas with warm water after an hour. Repeat the remedy twice or thrice daily.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apply some ACV on the rashes after cleaning it properly. Use a cotton ball to apply the ACV on the rashes and wash it only with tepid water after an hour. Repeat this remedy thrice daily for few days.

Papaya

The papaya is the best of home remedies for skin disorders. Take out the papaya seeds and dry them up. Ground the seeds and make some paste by mixing up this powder in rose water and patch it on the rashes and let sit for an hour. Then wash off your rashes with tepid water

Turmeric

Grind some fresh turmeric root and make it a paste. Apply this paste on the rashes and wash it off after 15 – 20 minutes. Repeat the remedy twice daily.

Aloe Vera

Simply apply some aloe vera gel on the rashes and wash it off when it dries up. It is the best of all natural medicines for ring worm.

Olive Leaf Powder

Mix the olive leaf powder with olive oil and make a paste. Apply this paste on the rashes and seal it with a duct tape. Change this paste once 3 hours for few days.

Camphor

Take a pinch of camphor powder and apply it on the rashes every day so that you can have a better curative.
